Come on a trip through time and see the results of the Great Missoula Flood, one of the largest floods this world has known. The scablands of Eastern Washington formed when an ice dam broke in the Clark Fork River Valley and drained Glacial Lake Missoula. See dry falls and huge erosional features, among others, left behind by the Pleistocene catastrophe. Keegan will share the history and background you need to appreciate the trip's spectacular sights. For ages 12 & up. Travel is by LCSC van. Bring a lunch and beverage.
